DISTRICT 1 POLICE PORTABLE TALKGROUPS

Several models of portable radios are used, including one with an LCD talkgroup display screen (Motorola XTS2500) and one without (Motorola XTS1500). The XTS2500 has three talkgroup banks, labeled "A", "B" and "C". The following is a listing of the talkgroups from a typical District 1 police portable, a Motorola XTS2500 model:

The XTS1500 portables lack the digital readout display, and only have one channel bank, consisting of up to 16 talkgroups. (The channel selector position "B" on these radios puts the radios into scan mode.)
